STAY is a modernist lounge designed to evoke the 1960’s vibe through oversized furniture and wood veneer accents housed in a monochromatic space backlit in a warm glow. The lounge is elongated and anchored by two bars at each end. The first bar introduces the space at the point of entry while the second bar becomes the focal point overlooked by an elevated VIP area. The two areas are connected by a long couch that serves as a lounging area to view patrons circulating between bars. In the rear, a DJ booth serves as the backdrop to the entire space transforming record spinning into a performance against a theatrical curtain stage.
