Devan Barton (dB) has
made quite a name for himself over the past few years. It didn’t take long
before he worked his way up through the ranks in the NYC nightlife scene. Not
more than two years after he started his first weekly gig dB would open for
T-Pain at his Myspace album release show at Hiro Ballroom in NY, then for
Pitbull in Miami at LIV Fontainebleau, Ryan Leslie in Los Angeles at Level 3
nightclub Hollywood, Ghostface Killa, The Clipse, Mario, Trey Songz, Sean
Kingston, and most recently the “Jackass 3D” movie premiere in Chicago. Recently
dB and DJ Wonder have formed the duo AnimalStatuS. With an internet tv show in
the works, crafting production, collaborating with other dj's/artists and
putting their own mixes out, AnimalStatuS is already garnering a buzz. They
recently remixed Major Lazer’s “Pon De Floor” which Diplo himself posted the
link to on his twitter page. |
